KAZUSHI NAKADA, Japan
Graduated from the Tokyo Glass Art Institute, Kawasaki, Japan, 1990. Graduated from the Ceramics and Glass Department, the Royal College of Art, London, Great Britain, 1994. From 2005 a senior lecturer at Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture, Helsinki, Finland. He was a visiting professor at the Moholy Nagy University of Art and Design, Budapest Hungary in 2010-2011. He was granted several honors and awards, including an Honorable Mention, Hakone Art Forest, Hakone, Japan, 1991 and Suomen Kulttuurirahasto, Project Helsinki, Finland, 2003. He has participated in more than 24 both solo and group exhibitions in Japan, Finland, Italy, Sweden, Germany, and Denmark. His artworks are included in the collections of the Finnish Glass Museum, Riihimäki, Finland; the Glass Museum in Ebeltoft, Glasmuseet Ebeltoft, Denmark and the Glass Museum in Lviv, Ukraine.
