Graduated from the glass design department of the Latvian Academy of Arts in 2000. Since 1999 a member of Association of Glass Design of the Latvian Union of Art. Perfected her skills at the Pilchuck Glass School, PRATT Fine Arts Centre, insp. Curt Brock and Jan Mare, and had in-service training at the Mark Eckstrandt’s Eastlake Glass studio, Seattle (USA). In 2002 founded her own Glass design Studio – “AM studio”. The artist presented her solo exhibitions in Latvia and the USA and participated in many group exhibitions and symposiums in Latvia, the USA, Russia, Ukraine, Norway, Finland, Germany, Belgium, Hungary, Lithuania, Estonia, and Japan. Artist's works are included in the collections of Corning Glass Museum, USA; The Museum of Decorative Art and Design, Riga, Latvia; European Museum of Modern Glass in Rodental, Germany, Glass Museum Lommel, Belgium; Coganezaki Glass Museum, Japan; All- Russian Museum of Arts and Crafts, Moscow, Russia; Design Center Ishikawa, Japan; National Museum in Lviv, Ukraine; Museum of Glass and Crystal, Nikolsk, Russia;Hungarian Union of Art; Notojima Glass Art Museum,Japan; Evald Okas Museum, Haapsalu, Estonia.
